Janet Nablah, the National Chairman of the People's National Party (PNP), has dared President John Dramani Mahama to put her in charge of the fight against illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey.
She claims that within a month, she will eradicate the menace that has plagued the country and destroyed its water bodies and forest reserves.
The female politician declared that illegal miners are murderers and deserve to be eliminated for their criminal activities, which are causing havoc to Ghanaians.
She has therefore supported the shoot-to-kill policy, stating categorically that the only solution to ending the galamsey menace is to start killing the illegal miners, as this will serve as a deterrent.
