The Minority Caucus has called on National Security to urgently disclose the contents of cargo suspected to be cocaine and cash, reportedly transported into the country by two suspicious aircraft.

Addressing journalists in Accra on Tuesday, the Ranking Member on the Defence and Interior Committee of Parliament, Rev John Ntim Fordjour, raised concerns over the activities of AirMed Flight N823AM and Cavok Air Antonov An-12B, which landed at Kotoka International Airport in March 2025.

Fordjour revealed that the AirMed flight, designed as an air ambulance for patient transport, landed in Ghana on March 20, 2025, but failed to transport any patient during its five-day stay in Accra.
