Leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) and 2028 Presidential aspirant, Honourable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, donated 800 bags of rice to Ghana's Muslim community to aid in celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitr on Monday, March 31.
Agyapong made the donation to various Muslim communities as they celebrated breaking their fast after the holy month of Ramadan.
The donations included 336 bags of 50kg rice and 500 bags of 5kg rice.
Speaking during the donation, Agyapong laid out his ties to the Islamic community, revealing half of his family are Muslims.
