The Minority in Parliament has raised concerns over the omission of the 24-hour economy policy from the Mahama administration's 2025 budget.
According to the caucus, the initiative was neither addressed in the State of the Nation Address nor included in the government's policy framework, raising questions about its implementation.
During a parliamentary session on Friday, March 28, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin voiced skepticism about the practicality of the 24-hour economy programme.
He remarked, "It is interesting that though his excellency assured us that his finance minister in his budget would outline the famous policy of 24-hour economy." Afenyo-Markin further noted that Dr.
