Six houses belonging to some Fulani herdsmen in Gomoa Amenfi have been burnt down by locals in the area.
This was after cattle from the ranch of the Fulani herdsmen destroyed a green pepper farm belonging to a farmer in the area.
In response, some workers of the pepper farm besieged the premises of the Fulani herdsmen and set six houses on fire, leaving several personal properties destroyed.
One of the Fulani herdsmen who was physically assaulted is being treated at the Otoo Memorial Hospital in Winneba.
