The former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, insists the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will return to power in Ghana in 2028.
Addressing the members of the NPP's student wing, the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON), Agyapong, who is a one-time NPP flagbearer aspirant, said the party can win back power if they unite behind a common purpose.
He said the party could easily claim back power and called for members not to despair or lose hope.
Agyapong promised to lead the party to victory in the 2028 elections, enthsiastically muttering his 'showdown' catch phrase.
