Alfred Obeng-Boateng, the former Member of Parliament for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, has called on members of the (NPP) to unite and strategize for the 2028 elections.
In a social media post, he highlighted the impact of elections on candidates and party members, urging the NPP to work together in preparation for the next electoral contest. "During election campaigns, many believe it is solely the responsibility of those contesting-Parliamentary and Presidential Candidates-leaving the burden on them and the party executives alone," he stated. "However, when we win an election, the benefits extend beyond just the candidates, and when we lose, many suffer.
Even civil servants and public servants who have worked for years often lose their jobs unfairly.
Beyond job losses, some also face intimidation and victimization at their workplaces simply because they are perceived as NPP sympathizers." "As we prepare for Election 2028 from the opposition, let us all come together as members and sympathizers of the NPP, particularly TESCON members, and campaign for victory," he urged.
