The Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Julius Neequaye Kotey, has pledged to revolutionize the agency's operations by ensuring swift and efficient service delivery while tackling deep-rooted corruption.

Speaking on TV3's Hot Issues, he outlined bold initiatives aimed at transforming the institution into one that Ghanaians can trust. "I want to build the DVLA where in 15 minutes the customer is served.

I want to use technology to solve a lot of the problems," he declared, signaling his commitment to leveraging digital solutions to eliminate delays and inefficiencies.

A key issue Kotey addressed is the presence of unscrupulous middlemen, popularly known as goro boys, who exploit customers by extorting money in exchange for expedited services.
