Veteran journalist and former Minister for Information, Fritz Baffour, has stated that the Board of Directors of the National Signal Bureau (NSB) should have detected and prevented the alleged embezzlement of state funds by Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the former manager of the agency.
Speaking on JoyNews' AM Show on Thursday, March 27, Mr.
Baffour pointed out serious flaws in Ghana's systems, which he believes allowed the former NSB manager to illicitly divert state resources.
The former minister, who also served as a Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South, emphasised that the Board, as the governing body overseeing the NSB, should have played a more proactive role in identifying and addressing discrepancies in financial management.
