The Assin South District Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) organized a quiz competition for ten basic schools in the Assin South District of the Central Region.

At the end of the competition, Nkran/Ngresi D/A Basic School 'A' emerged as the winner with 51 points, followed closely by Nkran/Ngresi D/A Basic School 'B' with 50 points.

Darmang Catholic Basic School placed third with 34 points, while Asamankese Ahmadiyya Basic School, Assin Kyinaso D/A Basic School, and Atobiase/Kyekyewere D/A Basic School tied for fourth place with 29 points each.

Asamankese D/A Basic School secured the seventh position with 23 points, followed by Domeabra D/A Basic School in eighth place with 22 points.
