Fans of AshantiGold have made a heartfelt appeal to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to lift the club's indefinite suspension. The Miners, once a powerhouse in Ghanaian football, have been sidelined for over a year due to a match-fixing scandal. The fans travelled from Obuasi to the GFA's Ordinary Congress in Prampram to voice their frustration and hope. The suspension followed a match-fixing controversy involving Inter Allies, leading to AshantiGold's relegation to a lower division. While some players involved had their bans overturned, the club's former president and vice president were handed lengthy suspensions.
