Ras Mubarak has slammed what he calls unjustified entitlement in NDC appointments, criticizing Kwesi Pratt and his family for benefiting from government privileges despite not actively supporting the party. "You cannot be more entitled to appointment as a neutral than a party member who's paid their dues," Mubarak argued, questioning why Pratt was part of a government delegation to Namibia while many loyal NDC members were overlooked.
He further accused Pratt's daughter, Ama Pratt, of not engaging in party campaigns, yet being considered for an ambassadorial role. "Never seen his daughter spend days in villages canvassing for votes," he noted, adding that her husband even backed Alan Kyerematen.
Mubarak emphasized that the current NDC government has recognized more neutrals than any since Rawlings, dismissing complaints about party members securing appointments. "If positions are given to party members, they are deserving of it," he stated.
He also rejected the notion that Kwesi Pratt is more leftist than senior NDC figures, questioning why respected party members weren't invited to Namibia while Pratt was. "You get all of these courtesies and still rob it in by calling us a band of criminals?" he asked, warning against forcing Ama Pratt into an ambassadorial role. "This attempt to force the government's hand should not be entertained," he declared. "Party members worked their socks off for this victory-don't insult them."
