British actor and filmmaker Idris Elba has been honoured as a son of Ga land during a grand ceremony at the Ga Mantse Palace in Accra.
Under the reign of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the event recognized Elba's contributions to the African diaspora and his commitment to Ghana's creative industry.
Justice Naa Yaale, Chief of Staff to the Ga Mantse and daughter of independence hero Ako Adjei, officially welcomed him, highlighting the cultural significance of his visit.
