Speaking about the budget on the floor of Parliament on Friday, March 21, 2025, Ahi urged the NPP caucus to acknowledge and accept the recent allocation of funds to support victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage.
He questioned the Minority on what exactly they want that is stopping them from approving the budget. "Another important program I expect my colleagues to welcome is the allocation of GH¢242.5 million to support victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage.
