Lawyer of Zoe, Akyea & Co., legal representative of Kwabena Adu-Boahene, a former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), has lambasted Professor Stephen Kwaku Asare, popularly known as Prof Kwaku Azar, over his comments on the ongoing legal battle between his client and the Attorney General Dr Dominic Ayine.

Professor Kwaku Azar had stated that public opinion plays a crucial role in governance, especially in cases where individuals are accused of embezzling state funds, as it enhances democracy in support of the AG's recent press briefing on Kwabena Adu-Boahene.

However, his remarks did not sit well with Atta Akyea, who accused the professor of condemning his client before a court of competent jurisdiction could rule on the matter.

He expressed disappointment in the professor for not framing his argument in line with constitutional principles, asserting that he had "turned the law upside down." Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM on March 25, 2025, Atta Akyea stated," he has misrepresented the law.
