Atick Yakubu, a National Youth Organizer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has proposed a new leadership structure for TESCON to ensure equal representation and engagement across all tertiary institutions.

Speaking at the TESCON handing-over ceremony at the Presbyterian Training College, Akropong, Atick Yakubu highlighted concerns that, aside Traditional Public Universities, other tertiary institutions such as Private Universities, Technical Universities, Nursing and Midwifery Institutions, and Colleges of Education often feel left out in the affairs of the party's youth wing.

According to him, this uneven attention has resulted in weaker TESCON structures in these institutions, affecting the NPP's broader youth mobilization efforts.

To address this issue, he announced a new structural initiative aimed at decentralizing TESCON leadership.
