Following the drought in Northern Ghana, the Founding President of IMANI Africa Franklin Cudjoe, has said that there's a need to move away from overreliance on rainfall to farm. This, he said, would protect the country from food shortage when there is drought. Franklin Cudjoe has therefore asked about the current state of the One Village One Dam Initiative by the Akufo-Addo administration.
"Good morning, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia there are reports of looming food shortages up north due to poor rains.
"May we be spared the harshest effect of the looming food crisis as the rains have failed up north. The agriculture, finance, and defence ministers are doing well to contain the situation.
