Legal practitioner and NDC communications team member, Theophilus Dzimega Jnr, has justified the controversial search at the residence of former Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr.
Ernest Addison.
While the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has condemned the operation as a "raid," Dzimega insists the search was necessary, particularly due to security concerns linked to surveillance equipment.
Addressing concerns about the alleged disablement and removal of CCTV cameras during the search, Dzimega suggested that the cameras themselves may have been a crucial factor in the operation. "It is alleged that the governor had a camera linked to his previous office and for which data is being transmitted to his home via the cameras," he stated.
