The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has issued a strong warning to government appointees, urging them to prove their loyalty by working effectively to demonstrate their allegiance to the NPP or face his wrath. Speaking on a Kumasi-based radio station, he recalled that in 2016, the party had no ministers, CEOs, or board chairmen, stating that those appointees secured their positions only after the party won the elections. He emphasized that if appointees fail to justify the reasons for their appointments, they will face consequences.
