An aide to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Kofi Tonto, has backed the decision by the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to establish a committee to probe the party's loss in the 2024 elections.
Speaking during an appearance on Joy FM on Thursday, March 20, Kofi Tonto clarified that the establishment of the committee was a joint decision and that challenging its credibility would be inconsistent. "The party has instituted a committee, and we trust the judgment of the party.
When the party meets to take such a decision, leaders of the party are present.
So how can we be part of a decision to constitute a committee and then come out to say otherwise?" he stated.
