Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has condemned what he describes as the abuse of power by security operatives under the current administration.

According to him, the abuse of power cannot be defended by any government official thereby calling on the president to take immediate action to curb what he described as the excesses of the government's "hawks." This comes after the recent raid on the home of former Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr.

Ernest Addison, by National Security personnel.

The raid, led by National Security Director of Operations, Richard Jakpa, has been justified by Deputy Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Justice Srem-Sai, as part of standard procedures in the ongoing investigations.
