Sarah Adwoa Safo has revealed that her father's transport company was demolished without prior notice during the NPP administration, leaving her family and many others embittered.
Speaking on The Pulse on Joy Prime, she recounted how Imperial Express, a thriving transport business operating across Ghana and neighbouring countries, was unexpectedly brought down by government officials. "We wake up one morning, and to our utmost surprise, Honorable Henry Quartey brought a team of guys with bulldozers-whether they were macho guys, land guards, or whatever. "They didn't even give us notice to pack our computers.
They pulled everything down in one day," she lamented.
According to her, the land on which the business operated belonged to the government and had been legally leased for years.
