The Central Regional Minister, Mr.
Eduamoah Ekow Panyin Okyere, has announced plans to collaborate with the Department of Agriculture at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) to provide orientation for farmers interested in Mahama's poultry farm initiative, popularly known as "Nkoko Nketekete." According to him, this initiative will create employment opportunities for the growing number of unemployed youth.
Speaking at a workshop for the Central Regional Poultry Farmers Association in Cape Coast, Mr.
Ekow Panyin Okyere emphasized that the Nkoko Nketekete policy is a serious intervention, not just a mere initiative.
