Former Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, Honourable Sarah Adwoa Safo, has revealed the reason she left Ghana for months to be in the United States of America.
Speaking during an interview, Adwoa Safo revealed that her eldest son fell seriously ill and was on his deathbed and she had no choice but to leave Ghana to travel abroad to take care of him.
Safo was Minister for Gender at the time and the sitting Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya.
Her trip abroad sparked huge public backlash and left some members of her own party disatisfied with her.
