It has emerged that the former Member of for Assin Central, , owns at least three New Jersey properties worth over $1.8 million, which can be considered in settling the $18m defamation slapped on him in favour of Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
According to public records, as reported by 3news.com, the assets could be leveraged to satisfy part of the defamatory judgment against him.
Following the recent $18 million defamation judgment awarded to investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, against in New Jersey, public records have supposedly emerged that show that the Ghanaian businessman and former MP allegedly owns at least three properties in the United States, with a combined purchase value exceeding $1.8 million.
However, the report said it was found after obtaining a property search report that focuses on properties identified in Essex County, New Jersey, where the judgment was passed, although Agyapong may own additional real estate elsewhere in the US.
