Former Deputy Majority Leader and Dome Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has disclosed that the number of votes cast to remove Prof.
Mike Ocquaye as Speaker of Parliament was so overwhelming that she cannot reveal the figures publicly.
Speaking in an interview on Movement Radio/TV, she claimed that the rejection of Prof.
Ocquaye was not the result of a few individuals but a larger group who had persistently called for his replacement. "They were not two or one, those who voted against him were more than that number," she stated, suggesting that the scale of opposition within Parliament was significant.
