Former Ledzokuku MP Benita Sena Okity-Duah has been appointed as the Coordinator for the Free Senior High School (SHS) Secretariat.
Okity-Duah, who first rose to prominence as Miss Ghana 1997, has had a diverse career spanning fashion, politics, and public service.
She attended Achimota School and later studied fashion at the London School of Fashion before returning to Ghana in 2003 to establish herself in the industry.
Her political journey took off when she won the Ledzokuku parliamentary seat in 2012 on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ticket, making history as the first former Miss Ghana to enter Parliament.
