Sarah Adwoa Safo has taken a firm stance against Mike Ocquaye Jnr, accusing him of disrespecting her father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, and using divisive campaign tactics.

Speaking on Movement TV, the former Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya made it clear that such actions would not be forgotten by her father's followers. "He said my father stays in the bush and weeds there and hasn't been to school before.

If such words are used against you, would your church members go out and vote? "My father is worshipped and respected so if you don't respect him, none of his church members would go and vote for you," she stated.

According to Adwoa Safo, Ocquaye Jnr attempted to create a contrast between himself and her by drawing attention to their backgrounds. "He asked them to compare and choose between someone whose father is a professor and someone whose father is a farmer." She further questioned the logic behind his campaign approach, suggesting that such statements would alienate voters rather than win their support. "Who would support you to enter parliament if this is the dirty campaign you are doing?" Adwoa Safo also warned that arrogance would only lead to political failure. "If you don't humble yourself before the people of Dome Kwabenya, you will contest hundred times and still lose…I am saying this on authority because the people there are not looking for your money." The rift between the two politicians appears to have deepened, with Adwoa Safo making it clear that respect plays a crucial role in securing public trust.
