Akyem Swedru Member of Parliament Kennedy Nyarko Osei has assured the government that the opposition will stand up to it with regards to any form of intimidation.
According to him, every means will be used to stop the government from bringing back the culture of silence.
His comment comes on the back of the recent arrest of Okatakyie Afrifa by operatives of the National Investigative Bureau.
Making his point in a post shared via social media, he said, "They say Akufo-Addo was a tyrant but he never capriciously used his powers to suppress and intimidate his perceived opponents and especially those journalists who took him to the cleaners every morning whilst he was serving as a President.
