Member of Parliament and human rights lawyer, Francis-Xavier Sosu, has criticized former Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr.
George Akuffo Dampare, claiming his public image as a "saviour" of the Police Service was a media construct.
Speaking on TV3, Sosu recounted how he was personally affected by what he described as unfair rulings under Dampare's tenure. "I was a victim when police officers were chasing me at my home and in church with AK-47s as though I was a common criminal," he recalled.
He argued that despite the public narrative, time would eventually reveal the reality of the situation. "You can create all the propaganda in the media, but the reality will expose you.
