The Minority in Parliament has expressed concern over President John Dramani Mahama's delay in submitting the remaining Deputy Ministerial nominees for approval.

During the swearing-in of new deputy ministers on March 12, the President had assured that the final list would be presented within a week.

However, as of Tuesday, March 18, the nominations had still not been submitted.

Raising the issue on the floor of Parliament, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin criticised the unfulfilled commitment, questioning the delay. "The president whose government business you lead in this chamber has promised that he was going to ferry the names of deputy ministerial nominees to this chamber.
