The Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson, has praised Connect FM for its high-quality content that promotes community well-being.

During a visit from Connect FM's event team to his office, Minister Nelson emphasized the importance of radio stations creating programs that cater to the specific needs of their local communities.

He encouraged radio station operators to focus on producing content that addresses the unique challenges and concerns of their listeners, rather than just broadcasting generic programs.

Commissioned in 2016, Connect FM 97.1, a subsidiary of the Media General Group, has become a household name in the Western, Western North, and Central regions of Ghana.
