The Inspector General of Police (IGP),COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno was confirmed as the new Inspector General of Police, following the removal of Dr George Akuffo Dampare from his position on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
George Akuffo Dampare was appointed the IGP in 2021, by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Following his new role and in a celebration, the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, and his wife attended a Thanksgiving service on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
The church erupted in cheers and applause as IGP Yohuno and his wife made their grand entrance with a large convoy of luxurious vehicles, accompanied by a music band.
