Sagnarigu MP, Attah Issah has commended government's decision to remove the 10% betting tax, E-levy and other taxes imposed by the previous NPP administration.
Speaking in an interview on TV3's Hot Issues, Sunday, March 16, Attah Issah explained that the decision comes at the right time when Ghanaians are plagued with severe economic hardships.
According to him, this will ease the burden of economic hardships Ghanaians have been subjected to by the erstwhile Akufo-Addo administration.
He told Keminni Amanor on Hot Issues that the move by government is a "pole-to-pole measure" to improve the economic conditions of Ghanaians. "If you look at the unemployment rate and the general economic hardship of our people, it is quite insensitive to burden them with further taxes…if you look at all these fiscal difficulties we have as a country and people are subjected to so much hardship, so this is a pole-to-pole measure that seeks to uplift the condition of our people," he stated.
