Businessman Senyo Hosi has said that he found the idea to establish a goldbod as a good idea.

If through concession contracts, he said, the country loses full monetary policy benefits of mainstream mining, the same should not be lost with small-scale mining. "It is for this reason that I find the proposition of the GoldBod as part of Ghana's strategy to regulate and optimise the country's benefit from the trade in gold and other precious minerals, a conceptually potent proposition.
