The buzz around Bitcoin is growing, and Ghana is taking notice!
On March 15, 2025, the Bitcoin & The Future of Money event brought together over 60 attendees at YOTA, East Legon, for an exciting day of learning, networking, and empowerment. With Bitcoin adoption rising across Africa, this event provided an opportunity for women, entrepreneurs, students, and finance enthusiasts to explore the real-world uses of Bitcoin and its role in financial inclusion.The event was hosted by Bitfiasi, a nonprofit based in Ghana that is dedicated to empowering African women through Bitcoin education.
Bitfiasi provides financial literacy training, mentorship, and workshops, helping women understand money, saving, investing, and Bitcoin as a tool for financial independence.
This event also marked the graduation of 44 women from Bitfiasi's Bitcoin for Beginners program, a significant increase from just 16 graduates in the previous cohort.
