The Bono Regional Chairman of the (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has alleged that former Minister of Interior, , played a key role in former President 's decision to appoint COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno as the then-Deputy Inspector General of Police (IGP).
According to Abronye DC, , at the time, claimed Dr.
George Akuffo Dampare was a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
As a result, he allegedly advised Akufo-Addo that the NPP needed someone affiliated with their party to help them in the 2024 elections.
