Former Auditor-General and member of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee, Daniel Yao Domelevo, has called on the government to prioritise civil procedures in efforts to recover misappropriated public funds.
His comments follow reports of the alleged invitation of Rev.
Victor Kusi Boateng, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, by the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) over the National Cathedral project.
Speaking on Channel One Newsroom, Domelevo stressed that leveraging the Auditor-General's constitutional mandate is the most effective approach to retrieving misused state resources.
