Ghanaian forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer responded to his Black Stars omission with a dazzling brace, inspiring Hamburger SV to a resounding 3-0 victory at Magdeburg on Friday evening at Avnet Arena, Magdeburg.

The prolific Ghanaian striker, who is enjoying a phenomenal campaign in the Bundesliga 2, broke the deadlock in the 9th minute with a sublime strike, as HSV got off to a flying start.

Six minutes later, the visitors doubled their advantage after Marcus Mathisen scored an own goal, following Konigsdorffer's shot towards goal, which was deflected in, earning him the assist.

After the interval, Konigsdorffer netted his second, extending the advantage for Hamburger in the 53rd minute, and registering his eleventh goal of the season.
