Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu has insisted that Former Minister of Sanitation, Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah should answer where she got the large sum of money kept in her home.
Kpebu said that given that Madam Dapaah was minister, it was reasonable to conclude that the money belonged to the people of Ghana.
To that end, Kpebu says the Attorney-General Dr Dominic Ayine must pursue this matter because his predecessor Godfred Dame wrongfully interpreted the law to allow her to go free. "The OSP investigations show that Cecilia Dapaah can't explain the sources of her money," Kpebu said on the Key Points on TV3 on Saturday, March 15.
He added "She should first answer where she got the money from.
