The economic challenges facing Ghana have sparked fresh criticism from government officials, with Minister of Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu blaming the previous administration for what he describes as a financial crisis caused by mismanagement.

Speaking on TV3's Keypoint, Kwakye Ofosu accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, which was led by Nana Akufo-Addo, of leaving behind an economy in distress. "Look at the cost of living crisis that the mismanagement has done to the people.

This economy is not in good shape," he stated.

His remarks align with similar concerns raised by President John Dramani Mahama, who has been vocal about what he perceives as reckless governance by his predecessor.
