Former Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare has expressed appreciation after being removed from the position by President John Mahama.
According to him, he is grateful for the opportunity to serve his country in the capacity as IGP after after rising from the lowest rank of the service.
Dampare acknowledged the considerable show of love and support that he has received from many loved ones and well-wishers after his removal.
He seized the opportunity to thank former president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the appointment which enabled him make history as the youngest IGP in the 4th Republic.
