Martin Kpebu, a private legal practitioner, has indicated that the National Democratic Congress, (NDC) adopted certain strategies to wrestle power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 Election.

He made this assertion while contributing to the ongoing debate about the appointment of COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno as the Inspector General of Police, while speaking on TV3's 'Ghana Tonight' on March 13, 2025.

He stated that contrary to the claim that Dampare was instrumental in the success of 2024 Election, the party rather won the polls through the vigilance of the citizenry. "NDC had a lot of people trained.
