Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku says the Black Stars have taking cues from their dismal 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers to help shape the team's 2026 World Cup qualifying ambitions.

Ghana finished bottom of their World Cup qualifying group with no wins and three draws, marking the first time the team finished the qualifiers winless.

The lull performances of the team resulted in Ghana's absence at the AFCON - a first since 2004.

Ghana, who garnered a mere two wins in 2024 and are winless in their last nine months, prepare for their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
