President has expressed appreciation for the accomplishments and service of former Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, during his tenure.
Addressing a delegation of high-ranking police officers at the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed IGP, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, President Mahama acknowledged Dampare's significant contributions to the country's national security.
He emphasised that the former IGP's work will remain recorded in the history of the police service and will not be forgotten. "Let me take this opportunity to extend my deepest gratitude to the outgoing Inspector General of Police.
