In observance of this year's International Kidney Awareness Day, a forum was held in Parliament today under the theme, "Are Your Kidneys, OK?

Protect Early!" The event brought together healthcare experts, Members of Parliament, Staff of the Parliamentary Service and citizens to discuss the importance of early detection and prevention of kidney diseases.
Addressing the participants at the forum, a Deputy Clerk of Parliament Camillo Pwamang commended the Ghana Kidney Association for their role in effectively mobilising support for persons affected by the condition.
