As contained in the Business Statement adopted by for the week ending March 21, 2025, the House will commence debate on the 2025 Budget and Economic Policy Statement on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

The debate follows the presentation of the budget statement to by the Minister of Finance, Dr. , on Tuesday. "The Business Committee has scheduled the debate on the Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the government to commence on Tuesday, March 18, and conclude on Monday, March 24, 2025," the Majority Leader, Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan, announced during the reading of the Business Statement.

The Deputy Majority Leader also outlined the modalities for the debate and indicated that the House intends to pass the Appropriation Bill by the end of March.

He added that the House will hold an extended sitting on Monday, March 24, 2025, and will commence sittings on Mondays from March 24 onward. "Committees are also urged to sit in the morning, as plenary sittings will commence at 12 noon," he stated.
