President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has told Chief Executives of State Institutions that government will no longer bail state institutions out.
According to him, government will rather merge, privatize or close failing state institutions that are failing.
The President made this known when he met with Chief Executive Officers in Accra on Thursday March 13, 2025. "Failing state institutions will no longer be tolerated.
They will be swiftly reformed, they will be merged, privatized or shutdown," he said.
