The Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Haruna Mohammed, has refuted claims that the party's leadership is absent from public discourse following its defeat in the 2024 general election to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to him, the party is actively working behind the scenes to reorganise and strategise for the future.

There have been concerns that the NPP's leadership appears missing, creating a leadership vacuum within the party.

However, Haruna Mohammed insists that this perception is inaccurate and assured supporters that the party is engaged in internal processes aimed at strengthening its structure.
