Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii has sorrowfully expressed disappointment at being ignored by those who were supposed to support him during his difficult time battling his eye injury.

The Ghanaian journalist made these statements during a press conference following the recent incident where he was shot in both eyes during a festival in Dormaa, Bono Region.

In the press conference, held at his premises in Oyarifa, on March 13, 2025, Kofi Adomah bitterly lamented that the leaders in Dormaa, particularly the Sumanhene, a sub-chief, had abandoned him after the shooting. "After the shooting incident, I called the Sumanhene to inform him that I couldn't see with both eyes.

He told me to stay positive, but despite having been to Accra to attend a vetting, he did nothing to help," he stated.
